    Position Summary:

    As a prep cook, you will be tasked to make our products to brand specification.  As a prep cook or a baker, you will be in charge of preparing ingredients that will be delivered to the restaurants that will be used for service.  It is critical that you are able to follow recipes to specification and also make modifications when instructed by the Chef.  You will also be in charge of maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the commissary, which means basic knowledge in sanitation standards will be critical.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Assists in all aspects of the commissary production; sauces, produce, desserts, etc…
    • Comply with all portion sizes and quality standards per company recipes.
    • Complete opening and closing checklists and prep lists in a timely manner.
    • Promptly report equipment and food quality problems and product shortages to management.
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work space.
    • Maintain the walk-in refrigerator, keeping it clean, stocked, and with product rotated accordingly.
    • Function as a supportive team member during the course of the shift.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    You are:

    • A passion and love of Pizzana product, brand, and experience.
    • Detail oriented with a knack for following instructions.
    • Able to perform basic mathematical and reading skills.

    • One year previous experience in a high volume production kitchen.
    • Good physical stamina and can lift up to 50lbs.

    Job Summary:

    The stylist position is the face of Velvet and represents the brand in attitude and appearance by styling Velvet product on themselves and customers. They assist customers in their shopping experience and provide outstanding service to achieve personal sales goals while lightly assisting with operational tasks as needed by management.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Sales, Service, and Merchandising Requirements (85%)
    • Handle customer service issues as needed
    • Greet each and every customer and courteously answer customer questions
    • Discuss merchandise with customers and suggest items that fit into each customers’ unique style
    • Monitor fitting rooms by attending to customer needs while being conscious of loss prevention
    • Complete customer orders via phone and email including follow up on special requests and inter-store transfers
    • Maintain the appearance standards of the sales floor area by keeping it stocked and organized
    • Perform point of sales transactions
    • Help when needed to replenish the sales floor or specific merchandising projects
    • Maintain personal appearance in accordance with the Company dress code
    • Other duties at the discretion of store management and/or the Company
    • Operational Requirements (15%)
    • Follow correct procedure for opening and closing store
    • Maintain organization and neatness of the cash wrap and stockroom
    • Assist with the daily cleaning of the entire store

    Qualifications and Other Requirements:

    • Must be able to work 10 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as well as overtime as needed by management
    • Previous retail selling experience required
    • Demonstrated success in building KPI’s and client retention
    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service and sales skills
    • Able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
    • Experience with retail POS/inventory control computer systems
    • Maintain positive team morale

    Physical Demands/Working Conditions (Time spent standing, sitting, bending, lifting):

    • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
    • Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms

    Purpose of the role:

    We currently seek a dedicated and passionate Seasonal Retail Consultant to work within our Aesop Knox location. Retail Consultants function as key holders, and work intimately with the Store Manager to build relationships with customers and assist in the store’s administrative duties.  The successful applicant will have flexible availability and will be required to work weekends.

    This is a contract position with an end date of January 15, 2023. Applicants will be considered for vacancies at Aesop Knox. Candidates must be available between November 1st – January 15th, vacation will not be accommodated during at this time.

    Who we are looking for:

    To be successful, you will have:

    The capacity to learn about and sell products requiring specialist knowledge

    A minimum of three days availability weekly, in addition to full availability on weekends.
